Just curious

would the rims and tires from a lf200III or lf200b fit on the gy-5?

I don't know. I think the offset of the front rotor is different, but I'm not sure. I did find out that the suspension from my Yamaha TDM will just about bolt onto my Lifan. It would take relocating my upper shock mount, a 520 contershaft sprocket and some spacers to fit the Yamaha forks into the Lifan triple clamps. Actually a pretty easy swap. That means parts from an R-1 should fit a Lifan as well as the TDM shares most of it's suspension with that bike... just something to think about....
