HELP HAWK Oil Res. Bolt Broken

Alright guys I'm in need of some serious help here.. I was going to take my HAWK on a ride for a bit and before leaving i noticed my mileage, since the last oil change, being pretty high so I said "Ah, might as well change the oil before I ride. It will only take 10-20min and ill be done".

So I drain the oil and begin to start putting the Bolt with the O-ring back on and as i get it tight i give it a crank (By hand) and all of a sudden it's loose. Initially I thought I had stripped the bolt, but as soon as I look I see a giant crack on the bolt.. I have no idea where to get a replacement. txpowersports doesnt have it on their list of parts and RPS has been a real trouble to get a response from For quite some time now. Im not even sure what the exact name for the bolt would be (Oil Pan bolt or Oil Reservoir Bolt, or Oil Drain Bolt?) Or if I could even find a replacement for it that isnt from the manufacturers I wouldnt know where to start..

Im starting to get real tired of the hardware on the HAWK. ive broken so many bolts, and most of the time its meaningless, easily replaceable bolts. But this is a serious part of the bike?! My bike is useless right now because of this one bolt...

Any guidance is appreciated..

Probably the same as any pit bike engine so there should be lots of them on eBay. The CG engine on my Lifan uses the same one as the horizontal Lifan.

BTW: A torque wrench may be a good idea.

It fits, use (19mm) socket instead of (24mm)

Hey thanks so much man! I was looking all over and couldnt find anything that would give me a definitive answer on if what i was finding was the right size, or i found bolts that were obviously WAY too. Thanks again, you're a life saver.

It's the same one that goes on a honda 200 3 wheeler if that helps. They're identical.

You can also go this route. The TT250 has been a wonderful parts source for little things like this on my Hawk.

Part #12, and it's a whopping $1.95 http://www.cscmotorcycles.com/TT250-...LOCK-s/325.htm

Part #7 will be the O-ring for it at a massive 65 cents. Part 8 is the spring, and 13 is the screen, but you shouldn't need those.

So, $2.60 plus whatever shipping will cost.
