Doh! First oil change, almost a disaster

I just finished my first oil change and due to my extra anal ways the first time I do something, I averted what could have been a nightmare. I had put everything back together but not tightened so I could re-check my work and noticed I didn't make sure the two screens were in the right way. I removed the right side screen bolt and when I pulled it out the screen was nowhere in sight! I got a flashlight and looked inside and somehow the screen had gotten up and over to the left of where it seats. Luckily, I was able to fish it out with a bent coat hanger. No telling what would have happened if I hadn't checked again.

Sounds like something I would do. Distractible as all getout, which is why I turn the phone off when working mechanicals.

I'm the kind who, before I start, goes ahead and smears
some oil and grease on my shirt 'cause it's gonna happen anyway.
