We make ourselves a short-stroke throttle grip.

Taking a short stroke at the throttle grip is not difficult at all. Remove the throttle handle, glue a strip of plastic into the groove of the gas cable. We select the thickness of the strip experimentally. The thicker the strip, the shorter the throttle travel.

With a strip thickness of 2mm. throttle pile travel is reduced by approximately 20%

I've done this same mod on all my bikes. Cheap and easy.

Thanks for sharing your mods, I hadn’t seen this one but really don’t like having to choke up or bend my wrist to reach WOT. Did this mod last night, just checked it, still too long on cable travel, needs another layer.
