How would that work? Could you put it on 2 cheap bath scales? And figure it some way?

Yeah, as long g as you got the whole weight on the two scales, the weights should just add. Analog is best for that sort of weighing since you don't have to worry about timing.

My thought is my local landfill or truck stop with a scale that might go that low or maybe a grain elevator.

I think the closest drive up scale to me is at the dump. I know the ol' guy there ok. I wonder if he'd let me weigh the bike? I'd be curious to see if it was really 309 as advertised also.

most of those drive on scales are not accurate at low weights

if you only have one bathroom scale you can to one end at a time with a block under the same height as the scale under the other end. then add them together.

I don't get it. I have the same bike, your in Redmond and I'm 90 miles away near Olympia. Yesterday I reached an indicated 70mph. It took awhile on a long and flat road and maybe my speedo is a little hasty, but wow, our top speeds are quite different. I have about 450km on the bike and weigh about 185. I also had my sportbike saddle bags on. All I've done is change the oil and check the valves (they were within spec).

Now, just imagine if you lose 80lbs (I wouldn't recommend it, as I'm 40lbs under weight according to the Drs.) and then slap a 39t rear on that puppy ... I'm only 5.4 mph away and then I can travel back in time if I custom fit the bike with a "Mr Fusion Juicer" , and yes this speed is 'GPS verified' (on a calm/slightly windy day)... it was showing '83 mph' on the Garmin (or was it the TomTom?) according to the Mrs. ... and I was 'full tuck' also
