Mine didn't have the washer but did the mod anyways. Concerned about the trailer and tongue weight possibly damaging the hub/spline/shaft with the added pressures. Wasn't sure if they forgot the washer in the factory.

Had the pipe.. cost nothing. Still have enough feet left to launch bottle rockets out of in RPG fashion towards my neighbor and his house.

It's a GIO 150. Marketed as a GIO, but manufacturer plate says "Tao Tao". Has some interesting features including remote start and alarm, 3 hydraulic disk brakes, and the venerable GY6 motor.

Just installed my new LED light bar this weekend. It's a US$20 eBay special from China. It's quite bright (but I doubt it's the claimed 3200 lumens) and seems to have decent build quality, plus it's IP67 rated. I welded on some steel tabs after I tried to weld on the aluminum ones and destroyed them (they didn't really feel like aluminum, but the welder sure burnt them up!). It lights up way better than the stock lights which really aren't that bad (halogen). I wired it in with a Canadian Tire toggle switch straight to the battery (with a 5amp in-line fuse). It fits perfectly into the space on the front of the rack.

I like the placement you chose for this... It looks stock. Don't have that bar to tuck one under with the Rhino... it's just flat decking on the front rack.

So, another update on the sprockets. I got the one from down under and it looks like the stock one except it's 11T. It has the recess on the face so the bolts should fit fine. I'm going to have to trim the clip a bit like Darth and 2LZ did.

No go on the rear so I'm giving up. It was listed on three sites and all (after one giving me false hope) wrote back to say that it's out of stock. Here's where I tried and the follow up;

Eagle-Wrote back right away to say it was OOS.
TXP-Took my $, said it was shipped...with no tracking #, when asked, said they were waiting for the tracking # (?!?). Waited a week and asked what was going on and was told that it was OOS. Wrote and asked when it could be expected in so that I could decide if I wanted a refund. No response but got an email from Paypal saying I got a refund.
360 (really the same as TXP)-Website said that they had two available. Ordered it, got an email saying that it was OOS, got an email from Paypal refunding my $.

I haven't been able to find another site listing this sprocket. Heck, I wasn't even sure it was going to fit. It looked like it would in the pictures. If someone wants to look for it some more, the number listed on all the sites is 11689-A94-15. Good luck.

BTY, the one I was trying to buy has 39T. Here's one that looks like it will fit that is 35T. Stock is 31T.

No, as stated above I got one off Ebay, shipped from Australia. It's cheaper, looks, and is easier to install than the one from WGS. I listed the Ebay link in an earlier post in this thread. I'll get a picture up soon.

BTW, I'm hesitant to order anything else from the above site. I ordered an item from them on 3/17 and haven't received it yet. They're not answering my inquires either.

Here's some pic of the CS I got off Ebay. It was $26.97 shipped and took about a week to get to me in Michigan from Australia. I already ground the clip to fit.



I slipped it under the chain to see that it's pretty close to the bolts. I'm thinking that they'll probably rub a little. I'll check them and if it's too much then I go with the cap style that Darth and 2LZ did.

I should add that when I got my rhino the first mod I did was an 11 tooth front sprocket. I ordered a 520 11t because I was assured that 520 is what was on the atv by the company I purchased it through. I know having a 520 sprocket on a 530 chain isn't the best idea. Because of back surgery the rhino sat for over a and a half. I just started riding it again about 3 weeks ago, and probably have less than 10 hours total on it since, but so far I am not seeing any accelerated wear on the chain or sprocket. I also didn't have the issue of the chain hitting the retainer clip or bolt heads like you all have with the 530 11t. I also went with a PZ30 instead of the mikuni clone for my carburetor because the PZ27 on it was all gummed up from sitting so long. I also upgraded the intake to a cone filter off amazon. I'm now in the process of dialing in the jets. Right now I have the original pilot jet in it and a 105 main and it is definitely too lean. Backfire on decel. I just got my set of pilot jets from ebay in he mail today and I will update this thread once I get the correct combo in.

No idea what size jets you need with the PZ30 .. hope all goes well with that process. Do post the results when you have the winning combination so others can have an easier go.

I finally found a better box to mount to the rear rack of the Rhino and replace the two milk crates ... think it will work for the other full size atv like the 250D and similar. Its a 20 gallon Power Packer from Walmart for 35$. You can still get the seat cushion in and out if mounted all the way to the back of the rack. The tote was mounted with two "U" bolts passed through the existing slots in the rack where it could make contact with the tubes underneath. Not putting a ton of weight in there.. just some tow straps, snatch block, gloves, drinks, and other light assorted gear I prefer to keep dry.

Just have a oil change tray on the front rack until I can find something better.
