Sigh... all the spilt rice! Do you know how many.... er, forget the rice, who didn't eat their fortune cookie? That's almost criminal!

Agreed with Weld... maybe your colleagues can leave beer next time along with the rice and fortune cookie? In the bottle, unopened preferably.

Since Keith and his crew brought it up, maybe it's only me but an hour after parking my RX3,,,,,,,,,,, I feel like riding it again.

That is very witty, but very subtle.

which size die you use. The power madd I was looking at are too high for what little extra cable we have. Did you have to re-route cables??

Thanks

I used the "Tusk Handlebar Riser Kit 1 1/8" Bars 30mm" and nope, I didn't have to re-route or lengthen any of the RX-3's cables

Zonged, Joining the RX3 club

Hello

Took a test ride on the RX3 today.
It's called the Honley Venture RX3 here in the UK.
I liked it so much that I bought it.
It's in orange, it's a demonstrator with 350 miles on the clock.
Fitted with a sat nav, power socket and automatic chain oiler, so some useful extras fitted.

A couple of questions.

The speedo seems very optimistic showing 40mph while the satnav showed 32!
Is that a problem that you have with the Cyclone RX3?
Is there a fix for this problem?

CSC has a nice website, the UK importer sadly does not and also seems lacklustre when it comes to product support.
As a result they don't even supply a user manual, let alone a workshop manual.

Can anyone point me in the direction of where I might be able to obtain one please?

The dealer that I'm buying from had intended to import the Minsk version ( they currently import Urals and Jawa's) and has given me a few tips along with some guidence sheets. He is currently trying to obtain spares and manuals direct thus bypassing the importer, but that will take some time!

Picking my Zong up a week this Saturday, then it's out for a blast !!!

Cheers

Chain oiler

Hi Rjmore

Thanks for the links. Will make good use of them
The chain oiler is a Tutoro automatic chain oiler.
I will take some pics and upload them after I get my bike, though will have to take it for a burn first though

The chain oiler can be see here.

Cheers

Congratulations, Slider!

I agree with Rjmorel's responses to the speedometer. You mentioned that you have a Sat/Nav unit that came with your bike? I added a GPS navigation unit to my bike and I use the speed function to advise of true (GPS measured) speed. The other solution is more elegant and cleaner, but it was cheaper for me to use the GPS Navigation unit since I had it already!

Good luck on Saturday picking up the new bike! And, in case nobody mentioned it, Orange is the fastest color.

Nice one slider, I hope you enjoy the bike.

In the UK, RX3 owners are few, we happy few, we band of brothers.... (hmm sounds kinda familiar)

And we are likely to stay just a few until we get a decent source for parts here.

I've had my bike 10 months now, used it every day, its not pampered and is often left out in the rain.

It has only actually needed the usual service parts in that time.

I have used CSC website and taobao.com for parts, both have been fine.

Thanks to spud and the contribution of others, this forum is the " one stop shop" for info on your bike.

But remember there are a few differences between the UK and the US model.
