oil level sensor?

Can anyone tell me if there is an oil level sensor on a 2004 flywing mx 150?
Is that what that is near the shift lever with 1 wire coming out of it?
What is that?

I think that may be a neutral light sensor.

Not that I can imagine. Do you have power to the coil when you kick it over?

In theory it could. Some bikes "insist" on being in neutral in order to start. It could be working in conjunction with the side stand and/or clutch switch which are other usual "preventive measures".

I had a pitbike that required it to be in neutral to start.

Me too, although there was no neutral sensor that I recall.
