Anyone in CT?

Hello, I've been seriously considering purchasing an RX3. I have had bikes for years and currently have 5 in various stages of repair or customization. This little bike intrigued me. I was going take it on as a project. Chronicle my ownership per say. Does anyone own one in CT i could take a look at first hand?

It's seating position and seat itself is my main concern. I have some back issues. The low power output is also an issue due to the fact i feel my SV650 is a bit under powered. All in all most of you guys seem content with the output. I can wrap my head around that. I'm a very competent mechanic and fabricator so that isn't an issue either. 6', 240lbs. That going to be an issue?

Both of those issues are matters of personal preference. I like the stock saddle and find the seating position very comfortable. However, some people prefer the aftermarket saddles. I also like small motorcycles, and think the power output is adequate. However, if you want to ride long miles at high speeds on the interstate highways, the RX3 isn't the bike for you.

I'm 39 years old. I've had around 20 or so bikes over the years. Mainly sport bikes. Did drag race for a bit. I've ridden motorcycles since I've been 6 years old.

I currently own an SV650 converted to a street fighter, a restomod Brat 77 KZ650, a 1990 EN450 bobber, stock 1980 XS850 triple, and a 1985 Ninja 600 I was restoring but I'd never ride it. I've always would rather work on the bikes than ride them.

My last new bike I bought was in 2002 and it was a GSXR1000...that had plenty of power.

Not looking for a long distance machine. Back roads, maybe some fire roads. Occasional highway use but I'm not speed demon anymore. The speed limit is fine for me. I may take up on that offer willy dog. May be worth the trip if you just let me sit on it.

My main bike has been a SV for many years.

My RX3 is more than powerful enough to travel with. And after years of hauling ass around the country on my SV looking for the best twisties, my license needs the break

The RX3 can handle highway all day if you keep it around 65.
It's forte however is traveling secondary roads and backroads.

That's exactly the niche I would be trying to fill. I would like to sit up straight, put around and enjoy the ride. Thanks for your input.
