The sheepskin pad I have is really made to fit a smaller seat(use on the SV for long highway rides)
What I really want for the Roxer is a real shaggy one in an odd color mix that is long enough to cover passenger seat as well. Will locate one this Winter

Got out Christmas Day for a one tank trip. Even found a few new trails to check out

Stopped by Easter Island

Happy Holidays

Decided to turn back. GPS said road had ended a mile back

Nice trails! I'm a bit jealous because of all the snow we've had lately.

Thanks for posting the nice photos from the Buckeye State. The weather back there is remarkably warm this year. Keep riding and enjoying the warm temperatures.

At this moment the temperature is 5 degrees Fahrenheit in East Idaho. The overnight low is predicted to be minus 5 degrees, Fahrenheit.

If the road ends, my guess is that's where the fun begins.

All of the Easter Island pics I've seen in the past must have been from very low camera angles.

Yes, it's all about perspective.

Nice shots Danimal. I've got those same lights in the garage to be installed on mine.

"Road" is such a subjective term.

Am out riding. Stopped at Woodys for a late breakfast and to warm up a bit. Jacket liner and gloves working very well, and the Laminar Lip added to the tall screen also really helps.
Just now tops of legs are freezing. Maybe 31 degrees means I need Gerbings pant liners as well.

Got out Saturday January 2nd for a ride. Just about a tank's worth. RX3 ran great and was real comfy considering the temps.
Was supposed to get up to 33 degrees, but I never saw temps above 31, so had to look out for ice here nd there.
Heated jacket liner and gloves worked well. Added a thin polar fleece layer between outer jacket and heated liner and it also helped.
Wasn't shocked that thighs and feet ended up bothering me in the cold the worst. Nothing either some $$ and watts wouldn't cure.

This radio tower was in middle of nowhere. Stopped to eat a granola bar.

Also saw this covered bridge. Not familiar with this one.

just before dusk followed a service road along some large powerlines. Stopped about a haf mile in a built a small fire, warmed my boots and legs and after putting it out rode home.

Was great to be able to get out even in what I used to consider weather not conducive to motorcycling.
