New (to me) Motorcycle!!

Let me start this post out by saying I was not LOOKING for a new motorcycle. Well I WAS, but I still was in the 'looking around and dreaming' phase, where I would think about all of the motorcycles I would want to purchase if I had unlimited funds. I already have a Zongshen Sierra and I'm perfectly happy with it, its just slightly frustrating when you have to leave extra early to get to your destination because its sllooooowwww and I'm not capable of going on highways (which is a majority of the roads around me).

Fast forward, I was looking around online and a fantastic deal just kind of dropped into my lap. Needless to say, I went over to check it out and ended up getting not one, but TWO new motorcycles. Lucky for me, my boyfriend was also looking, but he had the "fever" much stronger than I did. But he also didn't already have a motorcycle in the garage.

Final deal included an '83 Honda V65 Magna 1100 and a '99 Yamaha V-Star 1100.

PICS:

The 'His and Her' package deal.

Honda all loaded up and ready for the trip home!

NIce finds! If memory serves me, the V65 was in the Guiness Book as the most powerful bike at the time?

Yup, I'm taking the Honda!! Its amazing, and has EXTREMELY advanced features for an '83!! And culcune, it was in the Guinness Book for fastest bike going 0-55 and has a whopping 117HP! The GBoWR clocked it going 173MPH, crazy.

What's better than buying an 1,110cc motorcycle? It's better to buy a pair of 1,100cc motorcycles.

The Honda v-fours make a nice growl when you wick the throttle. Its a very unique exhaust note.
