Try using advanced search but I can't ever get it to work for my self either. Try google term with chinariders.net in the term

Searching with a phone is kind of hit or miss. Every time I try it usually fails as you are describing it, but once in a blue moon it will work. On my computer it never has a problem.

Most typical forum software is a bit hit or miss for internal searching. However, typically Google steps in to assist.

If you go to www.google.com and type this:

'site:www.chinariders.net bashan alarm'

You will get all messages from CN that contain the terms 'bashan' and 'alarm'. Of course one can enter any search terms one wishes.

Bashan woes

The bashan is still fighting me every step of the assembly ,,got the carb sorted out. An the tailight working. ,,but the turn signals don't work. ,,,,,Strange tho ,because when you start the bike up the four - ways blink for about a minute then go off ,it does this with the security system hooked up or bypassed the way one poster on here showed. I'll dig in to the wiring tomorrow .

If it has the same suspension as the Brozz I would agree it is great. I changed the folk oil to quality oil and it road much better than I ever expected.

Brozz has better rear swingarm (chain adjusters). I wish it wasn't for a drum brake because if it were for disc I would make an attempt to replace my Hawk's with it.

Motoxtreme , do recall how much fork oil you used in each leg of your bashan?

Do not let the rear drum deter you. Mine had great stopping power. Plus, its still widely used among mainstream bikes.

I'm pretty sure I used appx 225ml in each fork. Ive since sold the bike, but not because of any issues.
