125 Engine in a 110 ATV

I found this on Youtube, and I'd love to do the same thing. The atv he's using has a foot pedal for the rear brake, which means that the clutch lever can take up residence in the usual spot. The shifter is angled up quite a bit, but it seems to clear everything without modifying the running board. It looks like a fun setup for slow wheelies. I like it!

Nice little quad.

Why stop at 125cc why not go for the 160cc ohh I guess it would need electric start.

It would make a nice toy but I doubt I could fit on it.

I'd appreciate the cartoonish look of a six footer on it.

A 125 would be as far as I would go, because there would be overheating concerns beyond that point. As well, the 125 has a four speed, vs the automatic 110. A person with a smaller frame could have a blast on it. It would also have all the low speed torque a person would need for crawling through the bush on a fishing or hunting trip, and you could carry it in the back of a minivan.

This is a great, quality stator that suits most model engines with electric start. This is one of the end-user changeable components.
