I got certified for the saddle sore 1000 in 03'. IBA's records say 1,088 miles but I seem to recall it being over 1,200 according to GPS. I'll have to check my papers when I get back to the US.

Doing an IronButt cert would be very difficult on the current crop of Chinese motos but I'm sure it's possible as long as you can AVERAGE 60mph. On these oil cooled single cyls you might even want to stop for an oil change or two as you'll be working the engines quite hard...esp if you're loaded. It also might be better to do it in cooler weather.

1,000kms (640miles) would be more reasonable for a 150 or 200cc but that's not in the rules!

I think I got close with my trip to Quebec last year on a 150cc Xingyue. Not quite sun up, to almost sundown. Nice ride 8)
