if you are going to be in any dust I would avoid the k&n, but if that's what you want this should be close https://www.knfilters.com/rc-1060-un...-on-air-filter

LINK me up, scotty !
Have had no issues with the Nibbi filter that fits that carburetor. It's construction is as good and nearly identical to the K&N pods I have on each of the carbs on my Yamaha.

But like was said, if dusty dirty trails and such are your thing, use a foam prefilter or a paper filter. Something better than just K&N style cloth.

I would make an adapter and use the airbox. If you go through any deep creeks I would worry about the little filter stuck right on the back of the carb. I have modified my airbox to allow more air in and like it up high and under the seat. Maybe someone who has adapted it to the stock airbox can post what they did in my home fabrication thread.

I am running a Uni filter on mine.
BTW unless you have done head work, exhaust, just stick with the PE28. The PE30 will be a complete P.I.T.A. to tune as it will be oversized.
