Had A HASSLE At Tag Office Registering Tao Motors TBR7!
Had a hassle Registering bike! The bike itself says TAO MOTORS on it, the Certificate of Origination says Tao Tao, but tag office could not find either name as a legitimate manufacturer in their system! Took a while, but they finally found it under ZHE JIANG TAOTAO VEHICLES CO.,LTD

I emailed txpowersports.com and informed them of the problem and asked them to better next time.

These corporate factory names have tripped up numerous DMV offices around the country. Surprised Florida doesn't have these bikes in their systems; I know there are numerous Hawks there, but I am fairly certain I have seen several members mention TBR7s!

NOPE!!! That thread was about REGISTRATION of bike. Nothing to do with plate mounting!

Someone asked above what state gave trouble registering the bike. I used deduction skills to answer them.
