RX4 front sprocket

Looking to replace my chain. I'm planning to purchase a higher quality $$$ chain and want to put it on new sprockets. CSC has the rear on their website, front is not listed and it's not in stock. Waiting to hear back about availability, but looking for options if it has some long restock time. I found this one on ali express which seems to be correct.

It looks like CSC carries the front 13 tooth replacement sprocket now:
https://cscmotorcycles.com/sprocket-...-13-tooth-rx3/

The only difference I can see is that the CSC one has a hole through it, not sure if that matters...
If you do wind up trying to install the Amazon one let us know how it goes

I'm on my 3rd chain (don't buy JT sprocket x ring, it's shit) now and the sprockets are still in good shape... but at $14USD, it's nice to have that sprocket on hand for down the road since it may have a 1+ month turn around.

Edit, apparently they have recently added the front sprocket for $20 + shipping. Good thing, I found it odd that they didn't have a wear item like a front sprocket on their website for a bike that had been out for two years already.. but they had the rear sprocket lol

YOu can get 14t sprocket son ali express that fir the NC450. The 14 is a 520 however, but our bikes come with 530 chains which will fit a 520 sprocket (520 chain will not fit a 530 sprocket)

Yeah, I just noticed it's the same as the one on the bike. Kinda annoying it's advertised as having a 14T sprocket. Well my max speed on my RX4 is 82 MPH (my Speedo is calibrated with the Speedo DRD) I know I'm asking more of it, but for me 6th gear is gutless. Any other 14T sprockets available? What happened to the '92 GSXR 14T 530 sprocket from your other thread?

So the RX4 comes with a 13T countershaft sprocket?
Well, you can buy the SG400 countershaft sprocket. It has 14 splines like the RX4, and it's got 14 teeth. It is a 520 sprocket, but that doesn't matter, it will still work fine with your 530 chain.

The SG400 also appears to use the same rear sprocket as the RX4, but also in 520. It has 40 teeth, where the RX4 has 44 stock. This should also swap. The 14T countershaft sprocket will get you 7.7% decrease in rpms. A 40T rear sprocket with a stock 13T countershaft will give you a 10% reduction in rpms.

The RX3 sprocket is 13 splines btw, which is why it won't fit.

Thanks for the link, I ordered the 13T 520 for my SG400. I want a bit more acceleration, it's geared for 112.5mph but can only pull 96-98mph in top gear.

Charles.

A word of caution when it comes to swapping sprockets, on some bikes with ABS a sprocket swap causes issues with the ABS. The problem stems from where the machine is getting its speed signal. My Honda CT125 was an example of this issue. Swapping the countershaft sprocket would throw an error code for the ABS. Once again, not sure if sprocket changes will do anything on the RX4 but it is one thing to watch out for.
