If they say they dont have it in their database, Ask them if "Other" is in the database.

No doubt it sounds better. I could just see an over zealous peace officer questioning why I had something that was'nt a KTM registered as one.

When shopping for insurance, no one had HiBird as a choice. They all had the "OTHER" option though.

My brother has a dune buggy that he had all sorts of fun registering. He had a title for the donor vehicle but it really was'nt a 72 VW Bug anymore. It did fit thier definition of an assembled roadster.

And as others have said before, try a different person at a different office. Some people are way more critical than others.
