Does your original tank have a flip top? If so, I might be interested in it for a café project.

That's good news about the shocks.
 Are the new ones silver, or black? The length seems to be different.

Nice looking bike. The CX500 bikes make great cafe racers, I am building one at the current time and hopefully it will be done in the spring. Here are a couple of my favorites.

It appears the old springs won't fit the new, black shocks. Did you use different springs?
