I almost feel sorry for the thieves. After crashing at 140 kph with just a baseball helmet for protection, they probably got ruffed up by the police too. A friend told me alot of purse snatching in China is perpetrated by immigrant workers from the hinterland who can't find work and then resort to criminal activity to survive.
