Welcome to the forums. I wonder if that bike is similar to the Zongshen Sierra that was sold in the US? Have any pics?

I have read most of the posts and got very interesting information.

The use of my bike is basically in urban area i do not go to off-road i need wheels! but as a commuter is great even thought some oil is leaking fom the left cover side which i will find someday (very annoying).

Will speak again (as the brits say) chears!

Thank you for posting the photos, George! Your Zongshen 200GY-2 is the same as those sold in the United States of America.

I am glad you enjoyed reading the threads in the "Zong Sticky." If you maintain your Zong well, it will be a very reliable commuter bike for you.

Thank you for posting the beautiful photographs, George! The Zong is a great little motorcycle; it looks at home either in the mountains, or by the ocean.

My Zong does not leak oil from the left crankcase cover. Can you direct me to the photograph that shows a leak? What thread/tutorial contains the photograph? :?:

After you ride about 10,000 miles, you do need to replace several O-rings on the Zongshen engine to prevent oil leaks. I currently need to replace the O-ring on my engine's oil drain plug.

Mr Spudrider There is on the 3rd photograph next to the gear lever and underneath on the protection cover i see some oil because mine has exactly the same.
http://chinariders.net/modules.php?n...ewtopic&t=7727

Propably as you said after 10.000 miles needs many o-ring replacements. Mines got 17.000 Km => 11.000 miles about. Can you give me some info about those o-ring changes you made on zong? when you have time, i will appreciate it.

Thank you, George. I believe the oil you see is coming from the drive chain, and not from inside the engine.

The valve covers, oil filter cover, oil filter cover bolt, and oil drain plug all have O-rings that will seep oil when aged. You can order the O-rings designed for the Yamaha, TW200 motorcycle; they will work well for your Zongshen bike.
