As a moderator on the largest goldwing forum the last thing I want os a oil thread made out of one of my posts . I will ask mods to close this . Oil is like under wear . Use what works for you and do not get chaffed over them . Some bikes just like some oils . Plain and simple knowledge coming firm a guy who has owned more bikes than he is old .

To me, the oil comments all stem from the original topic, which is break-in. Moving forward, I'd recommend a valve adjustment by 500 miles for sure. The engine should be stone cold, like overnight before setting valves (I know you know this, Rail; this is general info for others).
