anyone found goo foot pegs for the hwawk 250?

Man those stock foot pegs are short.

they are out there. i just popped the rubber blocks off nine, but my bro found some nice bearclaw type pegs somewhere for his, i'll ask him and let you know in a few hours.

Pulling the rubber blocks off made all the difference. I am no longer looking for new ones......

did for me and i do a lot of wet riding (stram crossings etc. no more slipping probs even round the muddy banks.

The pegs on my old Lifan were too short to be comfortable for standing on so I welded on an extension. Quick and easy if you have the tools available.

The stock pegs in a word suck! Mine slope downward and it is impossible to stand on them without your foot slipping off. I've messed around a bit with putting my CRF250L stock pegs on and they do fi. The caveat being they also slope downward. Will eventually build the mount up with my trusty HF welder and see if that doesn't do the trick.

They look like the ones off of ebay? Took the rubber thing off am going to try later actually riding but my feet stayed on them when I stood up.

Years ago in the early days of Chinabikes, here on Chinariders, people had successfully bolted on KLR650 footpegs onto the old GY bikes. If someone has a KLR and a Chinabike to see if this holds true with the newer bikes...
