Thumbs Up Wheelie'd through 3rd gear!

Sorry no video yet, but I was practicing wheelies back behind a loading dock and got my hawk up through 3rd gear! Powered up in 1st to just before the balance point, and shifted into 2nd, rung out 2nd and into 3rd. I wasn't brave enough to try 4th though.

If your going to try it, definitely cover the rear brake! The torque from shifting into 2nd can send you backward in a hurry. almost lost it 2 times.

Ill get a video up in the next few days, surprising what these bikes are capable of.

With a little practice you should be able to ride a wheelie through all of the gears

Putting your butt over the fulcrum point helps.

Everybody that rode that bike had a problem leaving the front wheel on the ground .It wheelied pretty much instantly just with the throttle which made me uneasy when I decided to sell it as I didn't want it to go to someone who would end up with a broken neck .A few weeks ago ,a farm kid in grade 6 asked about it ,I looked after his yz80 race bike so I told him to give it a try .He rode it around the fence of the ball field beside my house ,entirely on the rear wheel .I sold it a few weeks back .
