Thought the Hawk came with a 50tooth sprocket?

Was outside doing some tinkering on the Hawk this afternoon. Decided to put the 17tooth sprocket I had ordered on, and look at the rear as well. Also bought a 45 for the rear. As I was loosening the axle nut something on the stock rear sprocket caught my eye. Stamped on the back is "45#". Does this mean I already have a 45 tooth on there? Nuts! Haha! Well, came in to eat dinner and post this. Back out to finish the 17tooth swap in a bit.

The number of teeth should stamped on the front, not the back of the sprocket. When in doubt, count the number of teeth.

I also thought the same thing initially and then I counted the teeth, it's a 50 tooth with a 45# stamped on the backside... Somehow mine was actually warped from the factory, just strange to think something that thick would be bent just manufactured.

Indeed, that is amazing. I hope you saved that sprocket, or at least captured a photograph of it.

I still have it and having two hawks and swapped the sprockets on both, we compared my 50 tooth to the other bike and you can see it's "warped". If I ever think of it, I will have to take a picture of it.
