ATM 50 Taotao moped power issue

Turn key on and no power. Had thought if you wiggled ignition it would go. This is one of two I own with only 20 miles on. Powersports max sent me a all new ignition switch thinking that was my issue but after getting it and just plugging it in. that's not it. I took battery out and the fuse is fine. After messing with it it works now. then let it sit and same thing. messed with fuse wire again and now runs fine. I have wiggled and played with all wires while running and cant make it duplicate. I understand once its running its not like its going to die. But when it wont have power to switch I can wiggle wires and no luck. Let it sit for a few minutes and come back and lights are on!!! Any help out there? Also it has kick start but doesn't seem to want to fire that way either when no power.

Using a multi-meter continuity "beep" function may aid in finding the gremlin . . could be a deficient connector crimp.

Since the ignition key switch grounds the CDI . . might try disconnecting the CDI ground connector if it won't kick-start.

Ignition and charging are separate circuits on AC-CDI systems.

Turns out it was a bad fuse. Fuse looked good but i tried another and it now works. the other fuse would work now and then. Im cutting this fuse out and adding an automotive one.
