Hopefully found someone to ride with
There was this guy back in August when I started my fall semester @ Southern Miss , and he was asking all kinds of questions about my bike. He seemed really interested, and said that he would be getting a Roketa due to the cheap price. Well, I've yet to hear from him since. I see him riding his bike around campus every now and then. I finally decided (since I want someone to ride with) to leave him a note on his bike. I told him my name, and how we spoke before he got his bike. I also wrote how I had some powerlines and good trails to ride. I left him my number on this note, so hopefully he'll want to go and ride. I think he's had this bike since September, and this bike is friggin spotless. It's really nice though.

It's not bad for not knowing a damn thing about painting. The paint on the handguards is chipping off pretty badly from trailriding and layin the bike down in the woods a couple of times.
Still not as clean as the Roketa though. Hope you didnt think nothin weird about that note. I just want a trailridin buddy! |

Welcome to the club, GoldenEagle...Did Shea clue you in with his note, or have you been lurking on this site?

It was actually kind of wierd because I was just reading through the forum and read the post. I had forgotten about the note and stuck it in my bag.

That's awesome!!!
I always knew that the South was gonna rise again! It was funny how Shea and I were just talking about this encounter on the phone when I logged on and saw your post here, Goldeneagle. I thought that was ironic and tried to look at your info, but didn't see anything there, either. Glad to see another chinarider in the area and maybe you and Shea can run some of those trails that Shea has been sharing pics of. Looks like a lot of fun down there. Glad you joined us! Looks like I need to move my shop down to the southern part of the state since that's where all the action is now. GO EAGLES!
