Tucano Urbano Leg Covers?

I wonder how the Tucano Urbana covers would work on the RX3. Those look like they would be really nice.

I just sent an e-mail to a guy in N. Carolina that makes lap robes for Urals.

Found his info on some other forum in a thread from 2011, so not sure if he is still making them or if the address is still valid.

Will post results here.

Jay he seems to go in and out of business, I believe illness is the cause.

I purchased my Langlitz laprobe used. But I believe they still make them even though they are not listed on the website.

Riddle's Lap Robes & stuff's.

I got a reply from Bobby. He makes two versions of the robe for Urals, different thickness. Also makes other stuff.

Who here lives in N. Carolina? Would you be willing to let him check the RX3 out for fitment? I for one would like to keep my "Happy Parts" all warm.

I saw them quite a lot in Italy with the commuters, also keeps your work pants clean. Looks perfect for cold weather or rain, keeps the seat dry too.

1 degree outside, wintah is here.

'Happy parts' can only remain happy while warm.

Here's a link to a German scooter shop that handles the Turcano line...lots of products:

http://www.sip-scootershop.com/main/...%29&a=1&sort=0

I can recommend SIP for excellent service and prices. I bought a scooter cover from them a month ago, and that was a positive customer experience. There are some Turcano products that are more like "quick-release overpants" in the SIP print catalog but I can't find them on the website.

The Harley riders wear leather chaps. Can anyone recommend a good set of overpants, or chaps?

x2. I have some Christmas money that needs to be spent on some overpants of some sort; any real-world recommendations would be welcome!

I don't have anything fancy, and not something I'd want to walk around in all day I just use them during the ride. its 3 layers the outer most has the impact ce armor and heavy duty mesh for protection and air flow in summer, then the waterproof layer that also blocks wind, then the inner most quilted layer for warmth. all layers zip out and they all have full length zippers up the sides.
