roketa utv help

I have a customer with a 650 roketa utv. The unit will not go into forward or reverse. the error code indicates E-!.
He jumpers the plug from the shifter to the relays on the trans and it will go into high range forward and reverse, but not low and it will not shift correctly at that point. To get to neutral he must turn the key off. Sort of a reset I suppose. Any suggestions or help with diagnostic materials or websites? I would like to help him if I can. Thanks everybody.

Sounds like it must all be computer controlled. I don't know.
