Mrs. C and I tied the knot.

This year, we opted to stay home. Mostly because Mrs. C couldn't make a decision on where to go.

So, we'll spend the day down in Chicago, mostly at the Field Museum, with dinner at Gene's and Jude's Hot Dogs in River Grove.

Field, as in Marshall Field. Founder of the Marshall Field department store chain that was bought out by Macy's.

The museum is still the Field Museum of Natural History. Some of the exhibits haven't changed in forty years while some of the new ones are very impressive. One of the new exhibits, 'Specimens', is one of the best I've seen. It deals with how the museums' specimens are obtained, studied, and cataloged. Apparently, only about 10% of the collection is on display. Jurassic World was pretty cool and I could loose myself in the Native American section if Mrs. C wasn't along.

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone.
