This is my bike. I purchased it new in September 2015. Approaching 16.000km.
I'm from Argentina, and here it's the carburated version, which comes with a rear 15' wheel

- Larger topcase, I commute to work and need to carry my notebook backpack.
- Winyoochanok windshield and handlebar risers.
- I just changed the rear rim to 215 x 17 in order to fit "standard" tires, shown with Metzeler Tourance 120/90/17 (already bought 185 x 19 front rim, will change soon)
- Aux LED lights.
- USB/12v over dashboard, both fed from independent line from battery with fuse and relay.
- Handlebar GPS mount.
- Handlebar end weights, also cut about 3cm each end, so current width including weights is the same as before.
- Mirrors from Honda NX400 (bigger and rectangular shape). Very sturdy, very little vibration even at "full speed".
- Front 15 tooth sprocket, rear standar 41.
- DID VX520H final chain (original worn out).
- Custom made centerstand.
- Front brake pads, origin Brazil, from Honda XR250.
- Bixenon headlight bulb.
- Small lens LED in place of the blue plastic cover inside headlight.
- Modified wire so dashboard lights up upon turning key on.

No pics of mine...all I have is an invoice Hey Spud, how do you like your Etrex GPS? I was torn between that an a 5" "car" gps from Garmin. With your Etrex, can you import routes, or make them with basecamp and export them from your PC to the Etrex, and being it's a small screen, can you see it well enough? Finally, does it do turn-by-turn navigation like a regular GPS?
Sorry to bombard you with questions, but you seem to have the mods I have on my DR, and or want on the RX3.

Yes, I can import and export tracks, routes, et cetera, from my eTrex Legend GPS receiver.

I bought the eTrex Legend primarily for dirt riding, because it is small and robust. I do use this GPS receiver while traveling on pavement. However, since the screen is small, I frequently need to pull off the road, and stop, to properly view the display. The eTrex Legend does give visual, turn-by-turn directions when approaching intersections. However, it does not give you an audio alert.

The eTrex Legend GPS receiver has been superseded by the eTrex 20X receiver.

Thank you, BB.

I have Zongshen roundels for my RX3. However, I am waiting for the paint to cure a bit more before I re-install them.

What brand paint did you use Spud? I'm tempted to plasti dip mine to a dark grey/green metallic. I'm not sure about the durability of the stuff though.

Green and Camo RX3

I couldn't upload the pics, but on Taobao, there is a green RX3 and a Camo version available. The green looks like the Triumph Tiger green. Very nice.

I painted both of my Zongshen motorcycles with Krylon Fusion spray paint.

http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion-for-plastic/

I then sprayed most of the parts with Krylon Fusion Clear Coat, which provides UV protection.

http://www.krylon.com/products/fusio...plastic-clear/

I painted the RX3 fuel tank and plastic 'wings' with SprayMax 2K Clear Coat, which is fuel and UV resistant. I wore a 95P respirator while spraying this product.

Here are several photos of my Zongshen Sierra 200 (ZS200GY-2), showing the Patriotic Blue color in brighter light.

Spud ,thanks for creating this photo gallery. It will be great to see all the mods and colors people come up with. How much overall speed you loose going from "fastest orange" to "Patriotic Blue" ? rj

You're welcome, Rob. Thanks for making the excellent suggestion.

Much to my surprise, I discovered blue is as fast as orange. However, orange is still the fastest fading color. That's why I repainted my bike in Patriotic Blue, and sprayed UV resistant clear coat on all the plastic, and fuel resistant clear coat on the gas tank.
