Apollo 250rx (upgraded)(jet issues i think)

2013 apollo 250rx

-wizeco 11:1 piston kit and rings.ect
-honda crf big bore kit matched to the zong block
-full power fist exhaust (FMF style)(i have a full 4 stroke fmf pipe ready but not sure how i want to do it yet)
-high flow pod filter and mud mask
-1/4 fuel lines and shutoff valves
-plastic pant and upgraded plastics and graphics
-High rise handle bars and full MX pully throttle with break away kits and full crash guards and a pro taper nerf pad
-aftermarket showa crf230 front forks and hardware/mounting
-battery and air box delete for weight reduction and less air lag
-full brake and rotor upgrade to premium mx (matching)
-15T front 48T Rear Sprocket set up with a D.I.D heavy link gold MX grade chain
-starter gear and internal delete (dont use and was disassembled as much as possible to get anything i wasn't using off it for practicality sake and my intended kick only build in hopes for a little weight reduction)
- Aftermarket Monroe rear shock
- Kehin pwk30 30mm carburator 115main/38 pilot

You've done quite a bit of upgrades! I didn't see anything about your carb problems. I did see you posted 2 different jetting sizes. Was that you trying to sort it out? What are the symptoms?

jetting already sorted pwk carbs use larger jetting then mikuni and PD carbs...there wasnt a lot of assistance for jetting reference for these carbs on zong 250cc but the CRF230F people used much higher jetting for their bikes despite those engines and the zong being close in output (-2hp roughly new). i used there pwk references for jetting and found that a 120main and a 38-42 pilot jet work best for zongs which is around what CRF230-250 bikes use for jetting (they use 115-120 main 42-45 pilot for jetting)

i was having issues with it bogging but then i rejetted the pwk and found out i was lean starving mostly because of the compression ratio its hard to dial in carbs...pwk slides are beasts so it was a stressful trial and error. I didnt get anyone to really reach out and offer help when all the info was up so i edited it out and decided to just leave a reference here for anyone having hte same issues i did and went all out on there Zong Engine like i did.
