The government is going to get your money, one way or another. Sometimes they merely change the terminology for the taxes and fees.

Be careful; he's not the only resident of northern climates trying to awaken from the winter hibernation.

The state is definitly going to get theirs, I work for the state and they just gave us a whole 2% raise, then they turned around and raised how much we have to put in our retirement. now I bring home less than I did before I got the raise...

since I cant ride it ,I went out this morning to tinker on it. decided to change the fork oil and there was maybe a teaspoon in 1 and maybe 2 in the other. Put the correct amount in (used atf, think it was Spud who recommended this) and made a huge difference. went ahead and checked the spokes and only half were .tight, some were only finger tight. cut out an aluminum plate and mounted a 12v socket for charging things. took some measurement and cut out some flat plate to make a skid plate but ran out of wire in my welder.( Also cut the grass, sitting on the porch now drinking coffee and watching my boxer lay in sun)

You were wise to service the forks while you await the paperwork.

Keep the spokes tight, and your wheels will remain strong and true.

Not surprising to hear you found things that weren't right, though so far I've ebeen fortunate on the spokes. You'll love the improvement in the fork function. When the TT gets here, it's the first thing I'm doing. I already have the Bel Ray 10W ready to go.
If you can't ride it, MOD IT! :-)...that's what I always say!
