What’s the best way to support the bike to remove the wheels?

Say you’re 10 miles from anywhere and you want to take off the front wheel or back wheel to change a tube after a flat.

What’s the best way to support the bike given a lot of dual sports have a single kickstand?

I got my Michelin tubes in and want to practice changing both front and rear tubes.

And I want to do it with the tools I’ll have available on my large adventure ride next week.

How would you do it?

I'm thinking that may be a little difficult for him to carry trail riding

It’s cool, but yeah. That’s what I was thinking. LOL

I’m seeing people just use a stick jammed in the frame. That seems like a decent plan.

Actually, that’s a question I have. I recently changed out some components in a generator. I tipped it on its side. I destroyed the generator actually.

Oil leaked up into the cylinder, and then I went to start it, and the valves were destroyed.

Can that happen to a bike?

Lift stick?

There's also one called a Snapjack that's more speedy.

Some people carry a little stick/brace. It fits up under the swing arm on the opposite side of the kickstand. They go by several names. Lift stick, moto jack, pocket lift, snap lift.
