Venom Layaway Review (so far)

So, i figured I would bite the bullet and try a layaway at venom. I hadn't seen what I would consider real reviews of this service. I've spoken with "Moose" a few times on fb and he's been very prompt and helpful. He's answered all my questions and I can't complain there.

However, today I noticed they charged my bank account for about $5. There was no email, no reason, etc for this charge. The website says plainly there is "no charge" for layaway service. I've fb messaged them for the reason and am currently waiting for a response.

I know it's only $5 but it's the principal of the thing. I don't like people using my bank account for things I've never been made aware of and given no reason before being charged.

I'm sure it's some sort of processing fee or something for my payment...but still. I hope I don't regret doing this but if the bs keeps up I'll just pay the thing off and get it right away.

What are you planning on buying from Venom? I’ve emailed Moose a few times and he has always gotten back to me with answers in a reasonable time. Keep us posted.

Just wanted to update you guys. I'm real close to getting the bike out as I had planned. I've not ran into anymore hiccups or mysterious charges. We will see how things go when it's paid off.

Venom was great with me too. I dealt with Vince and he is very knowledgable when it comes to the bikes!

I did layaway as well when i purchased my bike and i had a few fees come out of my account as well but after digging and speaking to my credit card company it turned out to be a fee from VISA directly and not Venom. My credit card company charges a fee for some type of purchases online which sucks so i am going to get a new card that doesnt charge these fees
