handlebars?

So, got my new 16 rx3 in with the shorter handlebars and the bar ends. I want to install my Oxford heated grips and my barkbusters (taobao ones). Question ...will they fit? Or do I need to wait for the longer bars?

I'm going to wait for the replacement bars...I don't like doing the same job twice if avoidable.

Hello adventuredad,
I do not recommend mounting your heated grips on the shorter bars. I had trouble just squeezing on the stock hand guard bracket, the heat controller is much wider. Also, once your heated grips are installed they would likely be destroyed if you tried to remove them if you changed your mind. I replaced the short oem bars with Protaper evo adventure bars, I got tired of waiting for the csc replacement. The black looks great but they are not cheap, about $85. You will appreciate the extra room the wider bars provide for accessories as well as lever angle adjustments. Today I mounted acerbis wrap around guards. Easy installation, just cut a bit off your levers. Ride safe!

Thanks for the heads up. I'll wait, or get different bars if the wait is excessive.

Anyone given any thought to powder coating their CSC replacement bars?

Anyone know the width and height of the "older" oem bars without the bar end weights? Or recommend some ? I want to add heated grips and my barkbusters ...maybe a cell phone mount...and I need the room. I want to keep the same height or maybe go a bit taller, but I need wider too. At least an inch?

32 to 33 inch is what I figured, if they cut the ends off to fit the weights and keep the same specs.
I measured 30 inch to the new cut ends so a 31 1/2 inch or wider bar would be fine.
