The experience and complete disclosure before purchase of CSC is so cool!

Anyway any experience with oversize tires and a lowering link RUB at shock bottoming out. Can't decide if I should take the risk. Front shock yes but no memory of rear?
Actually, I don't think you will have a problem with the Kenda, Big Block, K784 rear tire. It has an outside diameter of 25.2 inches, which is smaller than a lot of other tires. Compare the list below. The tire data is taken from the manufacturer's websites.

Shinko Tires

S804, Size 130/80-17: Outside Diameter; 25.2 inches
S700, Size 5.10-17: Outside Diameter; 25.63 inches
S244, Size 5.10-17: Outside Diameter; 25.63 inches

Kenda Tires

K786 (Big Block), Size 130/80-17: Outside Diameter; 25.2 inches
K270, Size 5.10-17: Outside Diameter; 24.88 inches

Mine rubbed with lowering link, Progressive shock and 5:10x17 244 tire. I just tightened preload on shock 1 turn and havn't thought much about it since, rj

Thank you. Your Info ,along w Ryan's much time and suggestions, has helped my decision to risk the Kenda 784's. 19" front and 17" rear.

2100 miles and counting on the Shinko 804/805 combo. Looks like they'll be good for 3500-4000 miles at least on the rear.

Not much traction on dirt for that last 1000 though I don't think.
