250 Cruiser Motorcycle

Nice looking street bike. I wouldn't mind having one for the street. Not to crazy about the dual exhaust but that's an easy fix.

Before Christmas a local dealer had these for $2300 out the door including tax, title, and a year of registration. They sold out 2 weeks before Christmas and weren't sure when their next shipment would arrive. My wife was looking at the matte black model, but they let her try a red one that they were prepping but was sold.

There are a few of these running around my city. They look pretty good. This particular dealer describes them as a "Rebel Style."

I like the green the best and the red. Half of my moto fleet is black. I already have a V Star Classic cruiser so I would be out on buying one right now. My son may be into one in a couple years.

They are made by Dongfang, and, use the same engine as their popular bobber (the one that is near identical to the CCW 'da Heist') https://www.venommotorsportsusa.com/...nt=41045808141

I have off and on eyeballed one of those guys as a better around town bike. My only issue of owning another bike with a CG250 is...I already have an around town capable bike with a CG250.

That lead me to look at the SSR Buccaneer, which is quite a bit more expensive for not a whole lot more power (17.4hp) froma very undersquare Lifan V-twin, but it is EFI and has a standard riding position which I prefer. For about a grand more though, there isn't much to gain besides the EFI and maybe an extra hp or two.

Then I also came across a Korean alternative to both bikes, the Hyosung GV250 and its over 28hp EFI Twin cam aircooled V-twin. It's not to hard to find New previous year bikes for around the price of the SSR, or even less.

But, again, forward controls aren't really for me. Might be looking into if you are considering a small cruiser though.

What I would love is a Buccaneer style bike with that Hyosung engine in it. If that existed I would probably buy it tomorow lol.

Give me that engine in the Buccauneer and I would be dropping money on one as we speak.
Someday I will find a bike that suits all of my desires...

Nice looking bikes. The X22-R over at venom has the same engine as well. I'm about to get it out of layaway so I guess we'll see how that engine holds up pretty soon.
