Looking for an easy ATV ride near Tucson, AZ

This will be our first family outing. Looking for a short morning/afternoon ride to get the feel of things. Wife and I have full size machines, The two boys have T-Force 125's and my daughter has a 125D. Kids ages are 11,9,7.

Kids are fairly comfortable on their machines but we don't want anything real challenging.

Any recommendations about something in the Tucson area?

A friend of mine suggested we go to Edwin Rd in Catalina across from Eagle Crest Ranch. It was perfect for my kids to begin to learn trail riding. There are tons of trails. It's part of the HoneyBee Canyon/Rail-X trails. I will definitely go back. Not very crowded, but several other ATV-ers and Dirt Bikes around.

Any beginners should try this one out. It's also a pretty nice road that you can run from Catalina all the way to Dove Mountain at least.

I am west of you in Yuma; plenty of places to ride. I am guessing your ride wasn't crowded this year due to the lack of snowbirds crowding everything up. I noticed your first post had a lack of responses, which is probably due to not too many Tucson area members with ATVs is my guess. But, I couldn't imagine you not being able to find a place to ride that was family-friendly.

We ride at Pinal Air Park in Marana. It’s a nice place and not usually crowded when we have gone. It’s BLM Land so you need a pass but its cheap for a family year pass.

Is the place you mentioned pretty obvious where to park? I haven't found many places around here and that doesn't seem to far away from me. Heading up to Prescott in March to ride at place up there.

https://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/.../ride_6a32.htm. I've also gone here. I like Marana better but its something to try.

It's really simple to find. There is some parking right on the N and S sides of Edwin & Rt77 (Oracle). You can also turn down Edwin and along the road there are several pull through spots to park and unload.
