Tachometer?

Hey Everyone,

Does anyone know of a tachometer that I can get for my taotao ata250d? I'd really like to see the RPM while riding. Digital or Analog, I'm not picky... I searched around a bit and didn't find any good info so I turn to you

Thanks!
Brian

Here's the spendy version: http://trailtech.net/vapor.html

You can find cheaper generic versions on eBay.

dont take this the wrong way but is a tach really needed for a quad ? i mean if you ride somewhere like where i do, they have a speed limit for quads, bikes, rock crawlers, monster trucks, etc... in the camp grounds and every where else that is not a trial to ride..

I don't mind

It's more just for me to know what RPM the motoring is turning out of curiosity. Don't really 'need' it, just another thing. Know what I mean?

you know what, i spazzed and thought you where talking about wanting a speedo on the quad.. lol...

i have a generic tach on my quad, got it off ebay.. its ok.. there is a delay between the real rpm and whats displayed on the screen. same thing with the trail tech systems.. about the best thing i have used my tach for is setting the idle, and hitting the revv limiter in each gear to know what rpm each gear max's out at..

At what rpm does the rev limiter kick in Mike?
