Smile New to Chinese bikes

Hello. Live in the Allentown, PA area, and just pulled the trigger on a Vader 125cc, delivery date pending. I have been following some threads here to get an idea what upgrades will be needed, mandatory minimums(fluids, nuts and bolts, locktite etc) and it seems like this is the place to find the answers. Looking forward to getting the bike and start wrenching.

I live in the Lehigh Area, just got my Boom Vader Gen 2 and been having fun with it. Documenting it on MyMotorcycleBlog.com, you might recognize some of the background scene photos.

Congrats!

Congrats!
Love the blog, particularly the exhaust upgrade. And I do recognise a few of the background pics!

Bike arrived!

Well the bike came in today, great shipping with R and L, box came strapped to a pallet, in pristine condition. The bike looks good, only issue so far is one of the wires to
the front brake was not soldered to the connector, pretty quick fix. In the crate was the manufacturer transfer doc to the dealer, still waiting on the other paperwork to arrive.
First thing the wife said after sitting on it was "fits me perfect".
First impressions:
Bar clamps are pretty low grade.
The rear shock does not seem as bad as I was expecting, it has lots of adjustment left in it.
Shame they dont sell the bike with a basic tool kit so it can be adjusted out of the box.
LIGHT!
Not a lockwasher in sight.
Rear fairing attachment screw was put in by Tinkerbell with a fairy size screwdriver.

Now for the go-through with locktite, unkink/pinch hoses, add lock washers, oil change etc.

Photos, hopefully

I hope I did this correctly. I have attached some pics of the bike as I get it ready for some pre ride maintenance: locktite, new fork oil, new fuel line, removal of rollover valve and replacement of tank vent hose, grom axles, assorted lock washers etc.

Well, got it titled, registered and inspected after a couole hours of wrenching this morning. Crank vent hose was actually routed well, no kinks. Put 17t front on, cruises nice at 5krpm 45mph with my 285lb on it. All I wanted. I did put a grom rear axle in, have a grom front axle for down the road, and I did put grom rear wheel dampers in, huge difference over the stock hollow set. My only issue is I have to loosen the exhaust to get the oil pan bolt out.
