Help with rear hub TaoTao 125D

Hey guys,
I have three TaoTao 125D's with the 3 bolt, 7" rims. One has a bent rear hub, so I figure no problem, ordered one on VMC. The only 3 bolt 23 spline hub they have is ver48, part# 214-RH518-48

So I ordered one. The splines fit the axle, but the hub is about 1/2" too short so even when the axle bolt is screwed on, the hub can slide back/forth. Additionally the new hub has a 78mm hole to hole pattern and the original one has a 70mm bolt spacing.
Even though VMC says this part fits a 125D, It is not the same as what is on all 3 of my quads.

I have tried to find the right hub, but everything I find is the same as the VMC part. Any thoughts?
-J

Can you use a couple of flat washers on the axle behind the new hub to prevent it from sliding back & forth?

You can drill the bolt spacing you need in between the existing ones, as shown in my rough image below.

Yeah, I hear ya. Too bad PK doesn't show more views. To me, the PK one does look a bit longer but that could be just the way it was photographed. Partskit, as far as I can tell, only supply parts for Taotao vehicles so it would seem to a safe bet.

There's a better fix than washers.
I will either use a nut larger than the bolt so I don't have 5, 10 or even 20 washers to deal with, or I take that size nut and drill it out with a bit about 1/16 larger. Now it serves as a single jumbo washer, and they provide a cool aesthetic on tons of projects I've done this on.

problem is to do this correctly the "washers" have to be toward the outside meaning the hub and consequently the rim and tire are also shifted inward. To keep the tracking proper, I would need two hubs and do the same thing for both sides.
