The one where she is naked is what I have taken it back down too. I am adjusting the valves in the morning and wanted easier access to the battery.

So here is a question...My motor does not look like the one on the Hawks. I does not have a drain plug on the side. It only has a drain plug in the dead center underneath the motor and it looks well made. I havent started the fluids yet, starting with the valves and moving forward. Spent almost 4 hours putting loc-tite on every bold and putting grease anywhere it would fit.lol. Heres the motor

The Bashan is probably made by Bashan, although it is not the same engine, from what I understand, as the Storm, Brozz, or Shark. I think Bashan made your bike to go head to head with the Hawk, only they were able to get their bike EPA/DOT certified since they threw it on the same certificate as the Storm, Brozz and Shark even if they didn't use the same engine. They probably went slightly 'lower-rent' to make the Enforcer's (I don't mean that as an insult--really I don't) price point head to head with the Hawk. Their other 3 bikes are considered a slightly 'premium' bike, even with the oddball wheel sizes.

Your Bashan is, ironically, a superior Hawk to a Hawk!? Go figure...

Look closer. I don't see a balance shaft on mcwhorter-enforcer's engine. Check out this counter balanced engine pic with the gray cooling fins on the bottom front of the engine and you will see the difference.

I wouldn't want you to buy this bike thinking you had bought a balanced shaft engine. We look out for each other around here.

Thanks man! Still my #1 choice if I don't buy used Japanese. Find a 1995 DR 350 with 3k miles for $2100 near me. Only if I had the money ready to go!

That's a CG motor like others. The other oil drain is the big-a$$ cap behind your shift lever. It has the oil screen inside.

It's alive!!! It's alive!!!

So I didn't adjust the valves first. My buddy who is a motorcycle mechanic stopped by as I was pulling the valve cover. He said do not...and said it again...do not adjust the valves first. At 500miles adjust them, so I didn't. Lol.

Rode it around the block a few times and shut it down then road it around the block again.

Runs great, carb needs some tweaking, but the ride was amazing. As soon as my documents come I will take it for a good ride but for the next few days it will just be around the neighborhood.

The cons... gas gauge doesn't work, tail light blew almost immediately so I will have to replace it before I take it to get inspected.
