rx3 false neutral

just bought an rx3 with about 4000 miles on it. have put probably around 200 miles on it now and I really like the bike so far. my only complaint is that i have occasionally found a false neutral between 4-5 or 5-6. I have started shifting it very carefully now and it only does it if you give it a weak or half hearted bump into the next gear but it is still quite alarming. anyone else ever run into this or have any ideas as to what i should be checking?

I have an occasional false neutral between 5th and 6th. I don't think it's anything to worry about. Part of the problem is the shifter pedal is quite a reach from the footpeg, I think. If I'm deliberate when shifting I don't have any problems.

Charles.

Try adjusting the shift lever, sometimes you may not be imparting enough force on it given the angle of your foot.. also make sure you are running good oil
