RPS Black Hawks are Here

I know a lot of people have been asking when we will get more Black Hawks, they are unloading from the truck right now.

Also, the Hawk's sister bike is in (Black/Red/Green/Blue). The Magician has the same engine, with a lighter frame and smaller tires. Our mechanic says it is much easier to assemble, and is slightly faster and better designed for on-road travel with superior gas mileage. Any of our dealers can obtain this bike, even if they don't have it listed for sale.

Note that the Magician (like the Hawk) is not a DOT motorcycle and on-road registration is dependent upon your local DMV. There is a long-term plan to make both bikes DOT compliant, but there is a lot of bureaucracy involved with that. The bikes were originally intended for Africa/South America, and the US has a lot of regulations that aren't required anywhere else in the world.

Is a black hawk another version of a hawk or just a hawk that's all black in color?
Is the magician what folks call a "supermoto"

Except Canada, which can be worse.

I really like the looks of this bike (I'm a sucker for a round headlight) but there are a few areas of concern. Looking around the web for specs and pictures show a few things that are a bit odd.

*The front brake line is not SS but rather conventional rubber. Not that big a deal but odd as most CBs come with the SS lines standard.
*The small gas tank. 1.85 gallons versus the Hawk's 2.5 gallons or larger? Hawk owners please weigh in here.
*No gas guage. There is a low level indicator, however.
*Odd rear tire. Not sure about this but one website shows a 19" front and 16" rear. I think that it's probably a 17", however.

Here's what's nice, though.

*Cheaper than the Hawk. The sites that have them are listing them around $100 to $150 cheaper.
*Shorter. The seat height is more friendly to those that are vertically challenged.
*Comes with more street oriented tires.
*Snail type rear axle adjusters.
*Same engine as the Hawk. Proven engine with a lot of support here for tuning.
*Rear rack.

Random thoughts....
Will the rear rack fit the Hawk?
Weldangrind will like the snail adjusters.
There should be a float in the tank. Will Mjstef's clusters work?
A SS front brake line should be cheap and easy to install.

I'm ready for someone on here to get one and do a review. I don't want to be the guinea pig. Ha!

Yes, I was concerned when I noticed this as well. However, the bike does weigh less and has better gas mileage.

I really like the looks of the Magician. But it might be a tad too small for a 6'1" fella. For some reason it looks like it would be a great utility/farm bike.
