Beat the bike up a little today - Page 2

I will force myself to learn boarding but I enjoy riding a my
china-hog/piglet much more. My daughter seems to want to try everything so I will do my best to let her experience everything she can.

Alright Here is the vid of my last ride, At least most of it..It's not that great but mycam was being held on by a tiny strip of masking tape..But the bike held up pretty well. It is slow but it gives an idea of what the ride was like..Hope Youi all like it.

Oh and I know I should have kept my RPM's up LOL

That is an entirely different world than Yuma, LOL. If I ever get my act together, I want to take a ride to Canyon de Chelly by bike.

I have never been around canyon de Chelly, But I bet that there are some great places to ride around. One guy I know thinks that the Salt river canyon is one of the best places to trail ride. I prefer where I am and up around Sunrise ski park..Pretty country.

Looking at your map, once you hit I 40, you should be able to theoretically reach Canyon de Chelly by dirt road. I have driven on many of them in a '96 Buick Roadmaster, so I know (even) these bikes should not have any trouble getting anywhere on the "Rez." I could probably map out a good loop that could be done in a few days, hitting all the great spots that the Navajo Reservation has to offer. Monument Valley has a huge 18 mile dirt loop road that beat on the Buick pretty well, but would make for a great ride on an enduro.

And yes, if/when the ride is taken, bikes other than Chinese bikes would be welcome...

I owuld avoid I40, It is an 80mph insterstate...Which means people are going 95mph 8) .I never realized how far away canyon de CHelly was..Almost at the border. Sure would be a great ride on a bigger bike though...Makes me wish I had a 400 or larger. WHat about cruising holbrook and parts of route 66?
