2005 roketa 250cc quad

I am having an electric problem with my 250 quad. I push the starter button and nothing happens. I did find wires coming from coil under fuel tank burnt. I replaced those wires with new. I replaced the left switch block a couple of weeks ago. how can I check the coil, and other items to see if they are working properly. I also need a wire diagram for the roketa RTS250 yr 2005. someone please help

is the starter turning at all? any clicking noises? you can jumper a hot wire to the starter and see if it is good or bad

Weld is on vacation so I guess I will try. When you say nothing happens is the engine turning with the electric start and it just does not fire?

Thanks for a reply. The engine doesn't turn over. No clicking noise. Nuetral light when one when key on.

The starter circuit requires that one of the brakes be applied. If you've tried with both brakes applied and still no joy, perhaps both switches have failed. I've certainly seen that before.

Follow the switch from the front brake, until you find the connector. Disconnect it, and test for continuity with a meter (you might need more hands for that operation). If there is continuity, the brake switch is not the problem.

From there, check the starter button for continuity.

Have you jumped the starter relay or solenoid with a screw driver?
