changing my rear sprocket to 46

Hi Guys, Happy Thanksgiving!!

I have my RX3 2018 and have ran 13,000 miles on it and I am so happy with it.
I would like to change my rear sprocket to 46 so I can get more torque because on my daily commute I always need to down shift up to 2nd gear when making a turn because the bike just die, so in order to gain that torque I consider the 46 sprocket change, making from 44 that comes stock.

Do you guys by experience think this will take a lot to my top speed or just a couple of MPH?

Thanks

You are thinking correctly. It will also help to get going from a stop, making first gear more effective.

I am guessing in Guatemala you have the carburetor version of the RX3?

Hi Culcune, Actually I have the injection model, 4 valve and 6 speed, it came with the aluminum tourfella luggage. 19 inches on front and 17 on back, I am so happy with it.

Updating!!!!
Just finished my buy from CSC for the parts needed and they have informed the front sprocket 14T is not available and they do not know when they will get it so I am in need of this.
Does anyone knows if there is another bike part that fits our RX3?

Thanks

I have been told that the DRZ400 uses the same front sprocket. It's worth a try.
