New from NC

Been looking to buy a Grom clone for a while and hope to find some good info to help me out. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the board. Good to see a fellow NC member. I've got 2 Hawks over here in Jonesville/Elkin area and SportRider has a Hawk in Mooresville. I don't know if anyone in NC has the Grom clone yet though.

Thanks. I was also considering a Hawk as another toy they look like a great deal for the money.

I have a buddy with a Grom. his runs out about the same as my 250 hawk in terms of performance. I have read reviews that say the clones are not as fast as the Grom is. take that into consideration when you set your expectations in your mind.

I have heard the same about several of the clones. A few seem to be able to run with the Grom. I am currently looking at the new Lifan KP Mini but it's not going to be available until May.
