Bull 200 Air Filter Replacment - Upgrade

Anyone ever replace the air filter on a TaoTao Bull 200? I got a new one but am not certain about installing it. Do i remove the entire stock filter and the black plastic box & plastic hose it is in? Any help is appreciated!!

I was wondering this also. Is this a suitable replacement for the air box and cheap rubber tube that always tears? Will it affect how it runs?

What do you do about the hoses that are connected to the air box?

Thanks

These questions are the reason I used flex seal to repair my rubber air box to carburetor hose after I started seeing rips in it.I was scared it might make it run lean and get too much air with just a small filter attached to the carburetor.

If I have to go to that kind of filter,it will be a two stage uni filter.Maybe one of the angled one's.

If I was going to go to this kind of filter,I would just remove the air box filter altogether.
